Located on the edge of an historic Cotswold village, the aim of this project was to unpick a series of poorly laid out and unsympathetic piecemeal extensions, and stitch together the remaining pieces of the original house to create a coherent design.

The resulting cruciform plan creates four distinct outdoor spaces between the house and the surrounding landscape: an entrance forecourt, a garden terrace with views towards the village, a picnic lawn (with fire pit) and a small formal garden in front of the original cottage.
