Having worked on the refurbishment of the original Frith Street Gallery, a listed building on Frith Street, we were commissioned to transform a large modern warehouse on Soho Square into the new Frith Street Gallery. In keeping with the philosophy of Frith Street Gallery’s director, the interventions were kept to a minimum.
Existing raw concrete finishes were retained with a new staircase designed as a free- standing piece of furniture, desks in the same finish, minimal glass screens and easily demountable plastered art walls.
